Exclamation Bike won't start! 2001 ZX6R, any help uber appreciated.

Ok, got out of class and my bike wouldn't start. I figured I may of left the parking lights on or something, and just needed to charge the battery. I pushed started it and it got me home fine.

I went the next night to go get some food, and the bike wouldn't start again. Being an idiot I push started it again because I was super hungry. Bike died at a stop light and wouldn't start. I managed to push start it one more time, but this time it was running really strange, it wouldn't rev over 6 grand and sounded strange. I turned it off and pushed it to a safe place and locked it up.

Symptoms:

Headlights and everything come on fine, bike turns over fine, bike has plenty of gas, just won't get started regardless of choke position. When push started it seems like it's not running on all cylinders or not getting enough fuel or timing is off. Won't rev past 6 grand, stalls out when the clutch is pulled in and revs drop to ~1200rpm

Possible problems:

Battery? Sparkplugs? Fuel delivery? Timing? Carbs?

Anybody got any suggestions where I should start looking or had similar problems?

Any help is really appreciated

I would start with:

1. Battery (charge it and then have it tested)
2. Charging system (Is there more than 14volts across the batter at 5,000rpms?)
3. spark plugs (what do they look like?)

if the bike was running good a week ago, I doubt the carbs are gummed up unless you picked up some bad fuel. Its possible that with you trying to start the bike so much fouled a plug or two.
