start problems

I have a ducati 800 supersport 2005. till yesterday its running fine , today i tried to start the engine, its not starting up. when i turn it on i can see netural and engine oil lits up and other lits they glow and turned off.......as its same everyday wen i start the engine...then i tried to start engine i can hear only "click" sound today.....its not starting up. My qs you to guys is to whats the problem? is it related to the battery? its getting cooler here in VA..i would try couple of rides before i garage my bike for the winter.
Please help. I appreciate your valuable time.

Sounds like the battery. Other possibilities are a starter relay or loose connection on the battery or starter. Check the connections first then the battery. If you have a voltmeter, check the voltage across the battery terminals with ignition off (should be about 12.8V or so) and while pressing the starter button (should drop down to maybe 11.8V on a good battery with the starter motor running).

Use jumper cables from car to bike. If bike starts up change batery
