2005 gsxr 1000 fi light solid

Heres the deal i just got on my bike started it up and rode around and the fi light is solid and never blinked the light has been blinking ever once and a while the bike has a little over 15000 miles on it service it regularly does anyone now what the deal is and oh yea it has stock pipe thanks for any help

The bike will put out a service code when the FI light blinks or stays on (it's like the check engine light in a cage). You need to put the bike in service mode, check the code, and compare the code to the list of faults.

yes thanks for the help how do i put the bike in service mode to see what the problem is or do i need to take it somewhere and have it done id rather do it my self but if have to take it somewhere i will thanks again for the help

Do a search for "dealer Mode" If you don't find it on this site, go to www.gixxer.com and search for it there.

Currently riding a '05 GSXR 1000 ~ Full Tit. Akrapovic, PowerCommander, Schnitz Racing Custom map = 166horse. Suspension by Thermosman Suspension ~ Ohlins internals on forks, Hyperco rear spring

There will be a white 6 pin connector underneath the seat. You need to ground the White/Red wire. The easiest way to do that is to stick a paperclip in between the White/Red wire, and Black/White wire on the connector. That will put the bike into dealer mode.
