Default bar risers, throttle sticks

I installed some convertibars on my bike. Had to reroute throttle cables to the right side of the fork leg. Now the throttle wont go back to closed freely, wont snap back. if its turned to the right, it will almost snap back but theres some friction. if i turn it to the right it wont move back at all. I came to a conclusion that the decelrator cable is being curved too tightly when turned to the right. The cable isnt long enough to go in between the fork legs and back to the throttle. so is there anything else i can do besides a new cable. attached is a pic of what it looks like when pushed to the right.

did you push the throttle side grip on too far? when i installed my new grips i pushed the throttle side on a bit too far and it made the throttle stick. also check that your bar end isnt touching the end of your grip too.....other than that all i can suggest is you check the length of the throttle cable and see if you can adjust it at the carbs to allow a little more slack so it'll snap back

Depending on how far up the grips moved, you may need to replace the throttle cables with longer ones (others as well?). Did the instructions give any hint about this?

You have too much of a bend in those lines. Did you get longer cables with the convertibars? If so, re-route them a different way. If installed correctly, the throttle should act normal no matter what position they are in or which way the bars are turned. Take a look at this post: ConvertiBars have been installed!
it shows a couple pictures of my bike. You can see how my throttle lines do not have near the bend in them that yours do. If you can't figure it out, call the Convertibars manufacturer and ask for help. They helped me with mine when I was having the very same issue you are having. The guy on the phone told me to run the lines different than what the directions said to do....directions were wrong.

Feel free to email/PM me if you need any more help.
