Default Leaking water

I've been experiencing a rather bad water leak from the water pump area on my 93 Ninja 600. I've pulled the water pump cover put the leak is deffenetly behind the pump and not from the cover. Looking at this schematic

http://www.bikebandit.com/partsbandi...dept_id=299035

It appears there is an o-ring behind the pump. My question is, does the pump just pull out?? I saw no way to unscrew the pumps blades. Any help would be greatly appreciated as of now im refilling the water every 2 days.

Got the water pump out. O-ring was fine, but there is a small hole in the shaft past the o-ring. Dont know what the purpose of this hole serves as that is deffenetly where the leak is coming from.

Its called the "weep" hole

It means one of the seals in the pump is bad.

You can have it rebuilt or buy a new one..........the new one is usually cheaper if you dont know how to rebuild it yourself.

Yes.........that is for the indicator of a problem

Or the other seal woud blow and dump water in the oil.

Isnt there a nut on it? the blades are connected to the shaft pressed I believed.

I dont know the specifics of that pump.
