Default Squeaky brakes

I replaced my old pads cuz they squeaked a bit. Now these new ones squeaked even more. What gives?

Clean up the brakes with a breake cleaner, there is no metal to metal contact? is everything okay with the rotors? were the pads properly seated?

if you didn't bed them in properly at the start, they will glaze over quickly and squeek.

people do it differently, but its just different means to the same end. Go to a open, unused area of pavement and do a series of stops. You can do it on the road but its more dangerous as people really won't know what they heck you are doing.

Start out at like 25 mph, brake, and increase your speed in increments, adding in more and more brake pressure each time. Whenever you brake, go from whatever speed you are at to like 10mph. Just don't completely stop. In the end, you should be able to go from 70mph to 10 with confident braking and no squeels.

i've ridden about 300 miles on these new pads, so its weird they still squeak. Would doing the heating cycle remedy this or is it too late?
