Default Stator mess cont'd.

Thanx all for the info, guys...
...Update:
Changed the regulator/rectifier in my Gixxer 750... no go... changed the stator (sucker was crispy to the touch when removed) and all is well. Until I went out tonight and rode the thing pretty hard. Perhaps one of the things I should have mentioned before is that something keeps blowing my headlight (highbeam) when I ride hard (ie, wheelies, etc). So, Is there a short in the electrical system, or am I setting the bike down too hard? The plug for the beam is toasted a bit for sure. Is there a future stator change in store for me again?
Help me before I blow my Lover up in wiring diagrams... and if anyone tells me that I have a short, but does NOT tell me how to fix it well, um (joke)
So there you go. Please help!!! I'm dyin' here!!!
