Default 600cc spark plugs fouling ...

I have always heard that it was a lot easier to foul plugs on a 600 then other bikes for whatever reason .. I have had 3 600's so far and all of them seemed rather prone to fouling plugs so I always figured it was true...

Recently I was told that it is not true at all and I'm really just curious if there is any truth to it or it I've just been listening to the wrong people (wouldnt surprise me).

I dont have any reasons why or why not, again its just what I was always told (and seemed to experience) so I never questioned it....

Anyone got any ideas ?

I can't think of any reason why it would be more likely on a 600. If all your bikes (600's) foul plugs, it's probably due to something you're doing that's common to all of them.

The TL 1000s are supposed to be foulers too.. and mine was fouled when i got it.
My 750 also fouled a set once.
Happens when you start it just to listen to it.

That doesnt sound right.

As far as the TL's go, they really need to be warmed up properly before you start getting on them. That goes for any bike really, but I have noticed the TL's, and twins in general tend to be this way.

Well you need to open the bitch up. Get that combustion chamber hot and burn that carbon/residue build up outta there.

Just chugging the bike around when it's cold will foul plugs.
