Default Installing K&N Filter in 03 F4i.. Help

Do I have to remove the entire Fuel Tank or can I just prop it up? If I have to remove the tank, I know I have to pull a fuse, and let it run or something so it drains the gas that was in there... Any help on this?

Thanks

I can do mine just by holding it up while I swap filters. Unbolt the tank and see how far you can lift it without detaching the lines.

Yea got the K&N in there, put it all back together, now just gotta test it and see if I can tell a difference...

What color are the original OEM Honda Filters? Are they a yellowish color or a white color like reg. car ones?

They are white paper element filters. Did you buy your KN filter new?

Wow, if they are white paper elements thats ridiculous.. This thing is a yellowish color and looks terrible. I didnt think it was too dirty if it was yellow...

Yes I bought the K&N Brand new for $30 bucks. Gotta love ebay

The OEM Honda Filter is weird though, it has a type of mounting bracket that isnt reuseable though. Just thought that was weird.
