Replacing shifter assembly
I recently laid my bike down at low speed going down a road i was pretty familiar with and hit a pot hole going around a turn and the rear tire just came out, wasn't going all that fast. The shifter peg and lever were all jacked up and had to ride the bike home in second gear. Anyway, i bought a replacement assembly and mounted it, only to find out that i can't get the tranny into first or above 4th. Was wondering if it has to do with the mounting position or if the tranny is possibly f#$%ed. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
