Default Problem w/ front turn signals

My front turn signals stopped working today. Prior to today they worked however the left on blinked fast. THe turn signals are LP flushmounts. The back still blink and the dash lights blink but blink very fast ( due to the front ones being out ). The wires from the bike, seem to be connected securely to the turn signals and the connections above my front tire seem secure. Any ideas what would cause just the front to stop working....BTW, I tried attaching some other turn signals in the front and those did not work either so it doesn't seem like it is the bulbs.

thanks.

Double check all the wires to make sure they haven't lost connection with each other by removing the electrical tape or whatever and verifying it for yourself.

i pulled off the tape and reconnected it when I was checking out the problem....that had no effect. What would cause both sides to go out but only in the front ???????
