Default heart rate - resting

what is yours and what do you want it to be?

i just measured mine and it is 58 i thought it would be around 70 bpm.

i'll measure it when i wake up to compare the difference but i'm pretty stoked that i've been up so long and before going to bed it is that low.

i remember in school my exercise phys. professor told her class the lowest documented rhr was 28 bpms. that is RIDICULOUS!

i would love for mine to get down to 50, hopefully by the end of the summer it will be that low.

i have a typical resting heart rate of 67. I would like it to be 60, a beat per second sounds good to me.

What I really like is that I can go from a 80-90% rate (about 150-165) to my active resting rate of 80-90bpm in about 4 minutes. I would like to bring that down to 3 minutes, then eventually 2 minutes.

When I was in th Marines, mine was low 50's. Now that I'm a lazy slob, it tends to run in the low 60's.

The lowest I've ever heard of was Drew Brees'. His resting BPM was high 30's.

never really monitored my heart rate, i check it every now and then at wal-mart, but that is totally skewed, first i have to drive there (with the idiots here my blood pressure and heart rate jump significantly) then walking around wal-mart makes things worse, it is usually measured Bp=128/73 and heart rate 74

when i was in college for my physical for foot ball i was Bp=102/59 and pulse 50s

some professional cyclists heart rates fall into the low thirties, Lance Armstrongs was 32-34 bpm. Miguel Indurains was as low as 29 bpm.

That's amazing. A beat every other second. I guess we know what happens when you work in a cubicle.

i went to wal mart to check mine, BP 121/79 HR 86. but those are extremely inaccurate, my arms are too big for the thing too, which creates more of an inaccuracy.
