i don't work my legs ... i run and also play soccer, so legs are the last thing i need to work out ... plus i cannot stand the way they feel how they feel after a hard workout.

i remember a few years ago, i asked for a spot from this personal trainer who was just big and fat (i laffed every time i saw him w/ a client, usually an older rich white woman looking to chat rather than workout). anyway, i just finished a 6 mile run and asked for a spot for a 225 squat ... after my 8th rep, the guy told me he could tell i needed to do legs more often b/c i had trouble at the 8th rep. i told him i just ran 6 miles and my legs were burnt ... he responded and said, "my point exactly."

I used to have links to studies that showed that doing heavy squats and DLs increased testosterone levels in the body and nobody who works out can argue with that.

Plus you look like a tool if you have a big upper body and chicken legs. And don't forget your calves.

If you don't work out regularly every week then your muscles are gonna be sore the next couple of days afterward (depends on how hard you work out.) Also you should do stretching exercises before and after, especially if you're having trouble with tight hams.
