Default Anyone care to join?

So I am not horribly out of shape but college has taken a toll on me compared to what I was last year during my senior yr. of HS.

With all my class hours/honors class/afterschool junk, I have been putting health on the back burner. Oh and doesn't help either.

But that ends tonight, tomorrow I am starting a 60 day diet plan that will run from Jan 14 - March 14. (Gotta get ready for spring break)

I have created a google blog where I will put what I eat, my workout for that day, and a picture for every single day to show progress....or god forbid, my failure.

I figure if it's on the internet, there is no turning back, and I miss my old form so I need to put the work back in.

Blog link: The Blog!

If anyone wants to join and keep track of their progress along with me, feel free. It's always easier if you have some motivation.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I had dropped a few pounds from the end of Nov til right before Christmas. Through the holidays I didn't stick to my diet to well. And now luckily at work they are having what they call a "Weight War" for employees to join in and loose weight. It runs from today (Jan 14th) til the end of March. So that's 2 1/2 months and my goal is 20 pounds.

I probalby won't blog mine quite like you're doing, but we have a similar timeframe and similar goal. I'm pretty confident I can hit my goal. Hopefully you can hit yours to.

The only thing I hate about trying to loose weight right now is that it's freaking cold outside so that will limit my exercise (walking/jogging/biking). There should be some good days where I can get outside, but probably not as often as I would normally want to.

if you want to really stay in shap a 60 day diet plan isnt the answer. yeah it will make you lose wieght but you cant go back to what is now normal after the 60 days. to be fit and healthy takes a change in lifestyle. you need to not look at it like, only 10 more days till i can eat mcdonalds and potato chips again!. but change your whole style of eating, learn how to make good healthy food that tastes good and be conservative on the fatening shit, you need to do this and keep it that way forever.

sorry if i'm coming off like an asshole, I'm not trying to be. A diet plan is a good idea to try and loose pounds quick. I'm just saying, dont slack off after the 60 days are up or the fat will come back. good luck man.

Yea, don't get me wrong, I don't eat fast food, rarely eat fried stuff.
No sodas, mostly water and the occasional sweet tea.

This is just a start, it will last and I won't be fluctuating with weight.
