Figured since there is a few more Hawaii people on here posting we should all check, introduce ourselves and maybe eventually meet up for a ride.

So I'll get this started.

My name is Brian. I've been in Hawai'i for just over a year now, married for almost 2. No kids yet.

I'm an EM on USS Los Angeles (SSN 688), and they're still at sea while I'm back here going to schools. Can't complain. It's been some beautiful weather for riding as long as the wind's not too strong.

Hey guys, I don't live in Hawaii but visity 2-3 times a year. My in-laws own two condos in Maui. Me and my wife plan on retiring in Maui someday. Got to win the lottery first! I'll actually be in Maui in Sept., so I'm always down on meeting some of ya!-russ

If you have a stop over in Oahu (sometimes you do, but lately they have direct flights fromt he mainland) let me know and I'll meet up with ya.

Ok I'll start: My name's Juan originally from Puerto Rico, divorced with a 6 year old kid, served my best 6 years in the US Army from jan '97 to feb '03. I decided to stay here in Hawaii and now I work for the City and County of Honolulu as a heavy vehicle mechanic.

I've always liked motorcycles but was never allowed to even ride a moped when I was a kid. Used to sneak out and ride my friend's 80-something 80cc scrambler and other friends of mine had YSR's. That was back in the mid-late 80's, never touched a bike again until march or so of 2003. First bike was a '02 EX250 and I rode it for about 4 months and put about 5000 miles on it. My second bike was a '92 GSXR600 and crashed sometime around august. Too much lean angle on cold 207's did the trick. Eventually rode the piss out of that bike (it had well over 50k miles) and the transmission gave. A few months later I bought me a '02 Triumph TT600 and that's the current bike I ride today.

Few riding goals but my very first goal is to never crash on the street again. My second goal was to do a track day and I finally did back in november but I crashed. Did my second track day on march and made it to group 2. My last goal for now is to make it to group 3 before the year ends and start racing.
