$6700 OTD good price??
What do you guys think? Plus, they'll give me 3000-3200 for my 2006 Ninja trade in. I am tempted. Original price OTD is $7400, plus I'll only pay sales tax on the difference....If I could only shake the Yamaha FZ6S2 off would be good..

Personally, I'd jump on it. I sold my 2005 Ninja 500 in June for $3500 with 6K miles on it, and I thought that was pretty good. You might do better if you sell the 500 yourself, but then the dealer might go up on the price of the GSX650F. Your call, but I'd jump on it.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, considering I get the tax break and no hassle. They still need to look over my bike carefully.

I would take it for sure, the difference in what you can gain by selling it privately wouldnt be much anyways, so save the hassle of that and get the the $3000 tax free off the bike, haha.
Let us know what you do and if you get it, we NEED pictures!!

My dealer won't come down on price. He has only one on the lot, and wont take anything less than $7500 OTD. Thats with a 6.5% tax rate. How did you guys get the bikes cheaper?

thanks. I really am torn about where to buy from. I loved the shop at Competition Accessories. But thats a big price difference. (assuming they don't nickel and dime me).
Anyways. I hopefully willl have a bike by the weekend.

Print up that internet price and bring it into the dealer and say "I'm going to buy a bike can you match this price?" If he is any sort of business man he will adjust his price to some degree. I agree, buying local is important. Express to your dealer that you would really like to do business with him.If he doesn't adjust his price he may not be a dealer you want a long term relationship with anyway. Good luck. The bike is everything I hoped for and more. Don't forget about the center stand!

Just FYI, I did the same thing with all of my local dealerships and they just laughed.

The dealer in toledo will sell for $6600 out the door. Thats almost $1000 cheaper than Competition accessories. I'm not that loyal.

I was hoping for $6000 to $6200 OTD. stopped by the dealer today, but today is the first warm sunny day and they seem to be selling bikes today so had to leave I will wait for the rain to come back.

Bought mine in March in Picayune mississippi for $6700. great bike. grew up on standards, worked with cruisers (police), now finally enjoying life with sport bike. can actually enjoy riding now trying to keep up with son-in-law (triumph sprint 1050 & Suzuki gxsr1000). trying to find hard bags to mount so can go to store for honey do list. wished i would have gotten a sport bike earlier in life. not as bad on my back or back side as i thought it would be.
