The unthinkable happened...
Well, I put roughly 1000 miles on my bike this year, about 6000 total. As the weather warmed and I was less concerned about sandy roads and cold tires, I found I was much more confident leaning over through the curves. I've ridden every chance I could, and last Sunday I found a short but really twisty road, and had a great time making one pass after another. I even scraped the foot pegs a few times.
But, it was bound to happen, and yesterday it did...
I took my previous pride and joy (a 99 'Vette) out of the garage for the first time this year and UGH... Driving that thing sucks compared to riding the bike!! I had the radio going, the heat on, I was reclined... hell, I might as well have been sitting in a Lazy Boy under a blanket watching TV!! On a long, empty stretch of highway I took it up to about 120 and it felt terrible - a bit floaty and unsettled. It's probably great compared to the average car, but compared to the bike at similar (or faster) speeds, it was down right scary. I was always a "car guy". What the hell has this damn bike done to me??? I can't believe I was disappointed driving a shiny white Corvette!!
And you guys thought I was going to say I crashed the bike...
Seriously though, I was amazed at how much less exciting driving is compared to riding. The only interaction between the driver and the vehicle is an arm and a foot, where on the bike it's the whole body. You're shielded from all the wind, you never see the road whipping by beneath you. I still love the car, but that thing is going to take a back seat to the bike whenever the weather is good...

When you know ya got it bad,,,,,,,
You're in the car,a cool curve is comeing up,you slide a cheek left or right and lean as you go through it.then you wave at the next bike you see.

Actually, the car takes to the curves like nobody's business. Those big tires, wide wheelbase, low center of gravity, the thing is glued to the road.
I better be careful, now that I've boasted, I'll crash the bike and you guys will have the last laugh...

+1. When my wife is with me, I give her the play by play as I drive thru the curve. She thinks I'm nuts.

That's nothing. Last summer when I was cutting my parents grass for the, I started to "hang off" the riding mower, and prepare to drag a knee. NO SHIT. I realized what I was doing, and started laughing so hard I almost fell off. lol.
