Red face More on my r6

So I finally put around 200 miles on the R6 I bought back in May. I am finally back on my sea legs so to speak. Finally feeling more comfortable on it. And also realizing just how insane I was on some roads on my 250 Ninja 8 years ago.

The power is perfect, I can roll on the throttle at any gear and zip away. But above 10K in 1st and 2nd are still scary to me.

Also this bike was lowered 3 inches so I dont know what it supposed to handle like.. or how it was even lowered or if I can fix that, or if I even want to. I can flat foot both feet so that's nice. The riding position feels identical to my 08' 250 except I feel like I have more seat to sit on.

Exhaust is ... not as loud as I thought it should be for aftermarket. It has a straight through scorpion slip on I cant really hear on own exhaust reverb off the down town buildings. Its a quality sound tho.

Still have roughness under 3K rpms. I guess it just likes high RPMs, how normal is that? Looked under the seat, no power commander.

Anyone have a copy of what the Yamaha dealer does at the 30K mile regular service interval? Cannot find it on a google search.

If you can find a user manual for the R6, it'll spell out exactly what to do at each mileage/time interval. Should be on Google somewhere

Well the R6 crapped out on my today just as I got home about a mile from my house.

I was sitting at a red light waiting for the light to change. My temp was around 208 and all of a sudden my idle went really weird and it sounded like I was running on 2 pistons. Temp went to normal 186 once I was in motion.

I hope its just the coil pack.
