In the wake of Salomís fatal accident, a meeting of the Safety Commission was held to decide how to proceed, with 10 riders in attendance.

These were Marc Marquez, Andrea Iannone, Pol Espargaro, Jack Miller, Bradley Smith, Alvaro Bautista, Aleix Espargaro, Andrea Dovizioso, Tito Rabat and Cal Crutchlow.
Not the list or riders i would have thought of as bieng the most concerned about safety.

Where were Lorenzo, Pedrosa, and Rossi?

Nice to see the tributes to Salom.

Well, that didn't take long...Crazy Joe to the rescue. Even without that, Lorenzo was going backwards, tire choice?

MM was riding his balls off. I was afraid he was going to crash and take Rossi with him. Vale, OTOH, looked determined and completely in control.

This season just hit another gear!

He was clearly having some issue. He has never been that strong when he wasn't in the lead though. I wonder how much was tire and how much was mental.

I was very dissapointed in the way he reacted when Iannone was trying to apologize. Childish.

You expected more? Pretty typical. I understand the disappointment in that moment but I also know you couldn't control what happened. Just accept the apology and talk it over in an hour when the emotions have settled some.

Just another example of why I can't warm up to him.

Yeah this shit happens to other riders too but when it happens to the one who carries Sic's nonchalant attitude toward on-track aggression and who has already crashed a gazillion times this season alone it's easy to see why you'd be pissed off the moment you stop sliding and the first thing you see is Iannone's face. It looked like he just made a mistake but I don't get why he chose to err on the inside instead of the outside.

He was clearly sorry and tried to apologize. The bigger man would have accepted the apology.
