So, Rossi leads Lorenzo but 1 point. Lorenzo has won 4 straight and shows no signs of slowing down. All the while Marquez can't keep his bike upright and is letting his pride interfere with accumulating precious points.

So, let's get to it.

AND REMEMBER, this race is run on SATURDAY , not Sunday.

Rossi is going to be hard to beat this weekend, especially if his team finds that little extra like they always do on Sunday morning. If he isn't in Marquez' head, he's close.

Rossi lead through most of the race, Marquez trailed a little, then passed and lead for a few (5ish?) laps, then Rossi passed him back on the 3rd lap from the end. Second-to-last corner, Marquez made a dive for the inside and bumped Rossi wide, which propelled him into the gravel and onto the front straight, skipping the apex of the final kink/corner. Rossi first, Marquez second, JLo a distant 3rd, Crazy Joe a distant 4th from that.

Marc hit Rossi at apex on the penultimate corner, race direction didn't even look at it.

:edit
Damned if it didn't looo like Rossi baited MM into it though. Who takes a hit, pins it BEFORE a gravel trap, hydroplanes across 70 feet of gravel, checks the shoulder ans STILL rocks it across the line on one wheel.

Fucking EPIC

Doesn't sound like they're investigating at all, they probably would had Rossi cut the corner on his own, but because Marquez and Rossi collided, Rossi really had nowhere to go as Marc had the line.

I was actually surprised that MM was that close with how Honda had shown up to race time. Lorenzo had absolutely nothing for Rossi or MM.

Where was Pedrobot? He seems to be becoming more and more irrelevant. He's still fast, no doubt but less and less a dominant factor.

Pedro crashed in either practice or qualifying and was probably still shaken up. I don't think he'll have a factory ride too much longer if he doesn't get a podium or two by the end of the season.

Even with the lack of passing at the front it was still a very entertaining race. Love watching the master and apprentice dance. The two rider crash towards the beginning of the race was brutal. Wonder what JLos deal was, went from a hundred laps leading to a mile behind

Great fucking race!

Can't see how MM could of ever thought he should of won that race. Ran into him in the last corner, bumps the guy off of HIS line, and then has the balls to say, I didn't expect him to CUT the corner.

Great win for Rossi, all that dirt riding in his off time comes in handy sometimes!
