i need a bike that has fairings that are more like race fairings. you know, the kind that come off in 3 pieces? an upper, lower and a tail. i'm not quite sure why street fairings are made of some type of brittle plastic that comes off the bike in 100+ pieces when you're trying to remove it for service.

make the race fairings with all the lights and provide little covers for when you remove the lights and go to the track. that would be perfect...

I have to agree. One of my favorite things about the 916 is how ridiculously easy it is to take the plastics off. Front piece takes a couple extra minutes, but the rest + tank is so fast and easy.

See this this is relevant^^, I did it without any personnel information. One thing that was missed was fuel range. Although if that is what the industry is calling relevant market research it is no surprise litre bikes are becoming fairly crap as a road bike.
