any emission requirements? I saw an episode of Wheeler Dealer where they flipped a Cobra replica and the MOT seemed like a pain to pass, including emission testing a carbureted chevy 350

No emissions test for bikes , and exhaust noise is at inspectors discretion . I run straight through window breakers on a thing I built ... and passed
Ooo aand wheeler dealers is on the telly .. and what happens on TV differs very much from real life . Heck if you own a pre60s car here you do not even need an MOT certificate or even road tax !!! Insurance and drive aslong as your not taking the piss the cops wont touch ya .

I could also easily build afar better car than a 5 million dollar shelby cobra.
does not mean I wouldn't buy an original cobra.

94 odd ft'lbs there are very few things that leap out of a corner faster than these things they handle pretty good, (whack your super light weight litre bike across the scales and see what it actually reads). No mine is not for sale I think there is about 8-10 of these in the country. It will happily wander around the local track at C grade superbike pace with my riding skills and riding within my limits.
Although I may be nit picking these bikes aren't technically race replica's, they are customer factory race bikes. As far as I can tell 131 made in total between 2004 and 2009/10.
