I do wear a helmet, as a matter of fact, along with other protective gear. But, the fact that you “certainly hope” I wear a helmet is so condescending it makes me want to ride a tricycle completely naked doing doughnuts in your front yard screaming Beastie Boys lyrics at midnight. Trust me, you do not want that. My buttocks are extremely pale and unsightly, especially in moonlight.

It's the KTM RC8?

That's an 1190, this is a bigger engine, higher output

The RC8 R engine upon which the bike is developed, produces 129 kW (173 hp) of power and torque of 120 Nm (88.5 lb.ft) in its 1190cc form, with rumors suggesting the new bike will have somewhere between 180 and 200 horsepower by the time it hits showrooms.

The 990 superduke I have is crazy as it is due to the torque curve and light switch throttle . If they make the power delivery as wild on that as they did on the old duke, it's going to be even more mental than it looks . It will not be a bike for the heavy handed .

Its a 1290 engine in that prototype .. so it 200cc of difference The chances are its actually a 1300 as the 990 is actually a 999cc engine .. but some minority bike maker beat them to calling it a 999 so they called it a 990 .
