I think Camaro is the most mispelled car model in history.

The face of the CBR is also new and said to be derived from Honda’s factory MotoGP team. The front fairing has a flatter nose and the halogen headlamps have been positioned more closely together. The windscreen is claimed to be smaller and the shape of the tank was also tweaked for improved rider interaction during braking.

I'm the same age as you, and happen to own a CB750 (note the avatar). Seems to me you just dont have an appreciation for history. I look at that bike and see a classic, with potential for a really cool custom. See my build thread in the picture forum to see what I'm talkin about.

If you ever get the opportunity to ride something like a CB, give it a try.
I've ridden some older air cooled bikes and Harleys too. It's not for me right now, but I get it. You might too.

The CB1100 is my next bike if it doesn't run like shit. I love it. Naked, big, fast. A pity about the steel frame, kinda heavy, but that engine should make up for it.
All that said, I cut my bike teeth in the eighties, so I'm probably having a bad case of nostalgia. But whatever the fuck, I LOVE it!

You can have an appreciation for it without wanting to relive it.
When someone says "they don't make'm like they used to" my thought is "thank god"
Look, I've got some nostalgia for the music of my youth, but I'm not stuck in time and I seldom listen to it. I keep current.
YMMV, and that is FINE, different strokes for different folks.
I grew up with naked bikes and DON'T LIKE THEM. I don't want to go back to air cooled cylinders with fins, I don't want to go back to no fairings and protection.
For those that do, knock yourself out! They are building all kinds of cool stuff for everyone now.
