as for the 600rr, i kind of like the small changes. the red/white/blue color scheme is growing on me. i really dislike they only have one solid color to choose from. red is not my favorite color on sportbikes.

i would really enjoy a new one but there really isn't that much difference from my '07 to justify buying a new one.

Everyone bitched about the last 600RR unveil, too. Now, they changed the most (arguably) glaring aesthetic of the old model, and no one likes the new nose, either.

The new Goldwing looks like the "SOA edition".

and another thing.!.!.!

did honda fire their marketing department? Why is this guy wearing an a*'s jacket, loud nonmatching helmet, and taper leg black jeans? why not show off some of the Honda branded gear(Joe Rocket?), or at least wear full gear with muted colors to show safe riding but still not stand out.

They must have had an over-supply of headlight assemblies at the Accord factory and decided to use them on the 600...

The CBR600RR looks dull too. Got to admit Kawasaki and Suzuki are the ones to get for exciting looks and. I rather get the Ninja 300 over the CBR500 cause that thing is 428 pds full of fuel and oil.
425lb for a multi cylinder, inexpensive bike is actually quite light. The $11.5k 600RR weighs 410lb.

I like the new 600rr, I think they didn't go far enough back to what the F4i was. The R6 is the most edgy 600, why try to go there? Honda needs to get back to the best "real world" 600 on the market. The repli-racer thing is played out and the factory's commitment (lack of..) to it is the proof.

Whu?

Just a little bit more than that.

New rear shock, Dual stage fuel injectors (one set for low/mid, and another for mid/high rpms), dual stage ram air, radial mounted front brake calipers, Big piston front suspension. Although they aren't say anything about a new engine. I hope it picked up a few ponies, if it's going to compete with other 600s.

To each their own, that's why we are human and have opinions. IMO, the new CBR600RR looks better than the new 636. I like it better than anything the Big 4 Japanese put out.

I like the 500, too. However, it is too heavy.

wow, they totally botched the front fairing on the new 600RR! those are the ugliest headlights I've ever seen! and they added those silly air scoops to the tail fairing from the pre-07 models... tisk tisk.

love the new wheels though and the BPF fork. i wonder if those wheels are a direct swap to the 07-12?

are you thinking of the 1000RR? that bike got a lot of negativity because of the front end. honda styling FTL!

Everything you listed here, except for the BPF forks, has already been on the 600RR. It's just marketing bs.
