There were some scary back-marker/lapped rider situations in this race. There were several clean overtakes, as well. I saw Colin Edwards get way out of the leaders way.
The fact is, I thought we'd see a lot more of this kind of thing all season long with the CRT bikes, and we really didn't have too many incidents. Not all the lapped riders in this race were CRT bikes, either. Some were factory team prototype machines.

Sad thing is that one of them was Rossi. Just in case he wasn't really sure it was time to get off the Duc, he wraps things up by actually getting lapped by the leaders.

Dovi got lapped aswell if I'm not mistaken. Everyone behind him was a lap down. This wad one of the outliar races where the condition and tire switching threw everyone off

Jorge is right that they need a better system of notifying back-markers. Indianapolis with Rapp and this are both good examples. Either the blue flags aren't coming out or they are not visible enough. Either way, there has to be a better way.

Kind of annoying that I went to watch the race a day late and I had to buy my 2013 pass.
Turned into a big mess anyways.
