Face it man you selling a .... That means every high schooler and muscle head wl be cling about the bike.... I know I tried to sell my 04 750 earlier this year. Lucky for me I got and awesome trade instead.
I had solid offers at 3-3.5k. And I had new fairings, tires, chain, shorty levers, 905 race rails power commander yosh trs and some other mis crap. Milage was 21k. And that was also mid-end of winter.

05 Gsxr 600 (w/ 750 engine)
A year older, but...
IMO, being a half street, half track isn't a benefit. It makes street riders feel like the bike has been abused and racers think that there's a lot of maintenance and work that needs to be done. Generally speak, a lot of street bikes are just gas and go, no concept of maintenance. I agree, sell it stock for about $4,000 and you should get a grand in parts.

Forget selling the race plastics with the bike. True or not, race plastics just scream "abuse." Sell them separately. I think it's worth $4K. Start at $4500 and go down a few hundred every week. Buyers will pop out of the woodwork when you hit the right price.

3500 low for a clean title. Put the stock bodywork on and you should be able to get 4500, then sell all your extra goodies seperate.

Track Body Work, Speedo Healer and Power Commander probably could yield you an extra $750-$1000.

FWIW, I would rather by a streetbike in race trim. More often than not a track bike is maintained properly and raced properly. Where an owner that just has it for the trip to the local starbucks, is likely to bang the engine off the rev limiter for 2 minutes from a cold start, never clean the chain, change oil,get the forks serviced, ect ect.

Well last time I checked, you pretty much walk around "blindfolded" all the time, so that's not that big of a deal for you, yeah?

on KBB the price between retail and trade-in is $3520. private sale you may be able to bump it up to $4. thats about it.
KBB doesn't take 'mods' into consideration. there is a reason for that. most dealers purchasing bikes don't care about 'mods' as much as the overall condition.
most private sellers don't care about 'mods' either. most would rather purchase a bike that is bone stock over a bike that has someone idea of making the bike better.

i tend to agree about the mods thing... mods don't mean much. case in point, i bought my 04 750 (w/3100 miles) for $6k (in Jan 2006 in Alabama) and it booked at 7500 at the time. the owner tracked it and wrecked it once (supposedly once) had fully adjustable clipons, rearsets, race plastics, SS brake lines, Race Tech susp, custom seat subframe (stopped right at rear of seat - no support for rear seat)...yada yada... was quite happy.
miss that bike.

holy shit if I could get a bike like the OPs for 3500 bucks I'd be in heaven. average 6 year old 600 sells for 5 grand here, if not more.
god forbid youre after something like an RC51 or something. cheapest listed now is 8500 bucks.
for 3500-4 grand you're getting an F4i, or something of that ilk. 2000-2003 600.
