I rode the R to work today. 28 degrees when I left the house.

Nope. I'm just not a fair weather only rider. It was clear but cold. No reason to waste gas in the Tundra. I went 180 miles on the G and only needed 3.13 gallons on the refil. The R went 170 on 4.11. That could be better, but I ride both bikes like I stole them.

Don't try to justify your madness to me, good sir.
Oh wait, I forgot you ride a BMW now. You'll be riding that fucker in the snow and ice with chains on the tires.
My mistake.

WOW. I've actually never rode in less than 30F, and I didn't want to do it again.

Damn, you are crazy. And I thought I was all macho for riding in 35 F... with small snow drops on my windscreen, at least!

The HP4 doesn't have an ambient temp gauge, btw.
First weekend I had my S1000RR I took it up to the snow.

No thanks, temps below 50F are just too f**king cold and I don't care what you are wearing. Also dangerous as the chill reaches the bones and one's reflexes slow. Motorcycles are just not fun in cold temps, gimme a car when the frost arrives.

There is no snow in Mexico City, I think the last time there was a snowfall was 35 years ago or so.
