07 ZX10R
Mods - Akrapovic mufflers, lowered an inch or two (by previous owner), slow rider mod
Use - commute/amazing parking at school, the occasional spirited ride
Nickname - Vixen
I bought it in May with 1818 miles and passed 6000 today. I would like to get some EBC HH pads, steel braided lines, and a fender eliminator....but being a student means that paying the insurance and keeping good tires on the bike is a lot more important. But hey, no complaints. I'm blessed and very pleased to be able to afford such a capable and ridiculously fun bike.

Don't know how long it has been since I have posted on this forum, or if ever for that matter.
My wife and I are pretty much bike crazy, so here's a list of our bikes:
2001 HD Dyna Glide
2004 HD Ultra Classic Screamin Eagle
2000 HD Dyna Wide Glide
2009 HD Dyna Hippo Double Dutch Bus Flamin Beagle
Just kidding, we don't own any Harley's. Never have, never will.
2002 Aprilia Mille R
2003 Aprilia Tuono
1984 GPz750
2002 YZF600r (Wife's)
2003 Ninja 250 (Wife's)
2008 Kawasaki C14
2004 GSX-R750 Track Bike
The 2002 Mille R I bought in pieces with about 60% missing. Brought it home in the back of my truck. It had been parted out, but amazingly enough the engine with a 1060 kit was still there along with Ohlins Forks and shock. It had a frame and title, missing a wire loom, sub frame, wheels, CPU, exhaust, fender, hugger, Throttle Bodies, fuel pump, etc...
Built it back with 2003 tank and plastics in Plomb Grey (Plomb means Lead in Italian I believe).
Took me a year to reassemble and source parts but it came together nicely, runs and is registered and insured.
I do need to find a legitimate frame and title for my rack bike. I'd like to put it on the street. Since I have track plastics I can switch it back and forth.
This bike is not stolen, it has never been registered or put on the street. The past 4 owners all signed the title and screwed it all up. Now the original owner is incognito and that's where I'm stuck. Been trying to get it titled for the past year with no luck.
Engine was built by Vesrah Racing and it's incredibly fast for a 750. I've ridden many 1k's and this 750 is as fast or faster. It's the best handling bike on the track in a straight line.
Need to get it on a good dyno and not some HD bike week bogus dyno to see what it really makes for power. Butt dyno says "OMG!"
Anyway, just dropped in to say "Hey".
Later
Jack

Geez, only 4 posts in 7 years! Now 5. I need to get on the stick if I want to post a "WTB" in the classified section.
At the rate I'm going it'll be 35 years before I make 25 posts and become eligible.
