Holy fu$%ing wow!!!!! Wowowowow
sooo, i cant even pretend to not be over the moon. I am absolutely elated right now. I feel like ive fallen in love for the first time....but better. I bought my CBR600RR today and holy mother of pearl.....i cannot believe that men build such machines!!!! The diff. between this bike and my 250 is UNREAL. I was prepared for a difference but words could not describe the expressions that probably came over my face as i took off on this beautiful piece of engineering for the first, second, third, fourth, millionth time. I am absolutely in LOVE with this bike. I feel like i should use a stronger word....but the english language fails to provide me with the vocabulary which could properly describe my feelings about this bike.
Simply....amazing. Thanks all who recommended it. I can never imagine getting bored on this machine. And the handling...OH the way it leans....it WANTS to lean and bank and dances gracefully around the corners. Its like i just whisper in its ear and it does EVeRYTHING i tell it to.
will post pics of it soon!!!! Sorry for the rant....but...wow. I am so happy with this buy and this bike. im in love with a girl named CBR600RR

Take it to the track. It is trying to hurt you, and will do so when you feel confident. Your best bet is to gain experience fast.

Awesome dude! Congrats.
I was terrified of my R6 for the first few weeks, but thats what I get for starting on a bike that was too big. But you did it the right way and now you can enjoy it! Ride safe.

lol, im very glad i did not.
I have not even explored wide open throttle yet....but i dont feel like i even need to. I go to about 9 revs then shift....yet to explore 10,11,12,13,14.
I am seriously excited to take this to the track and learn how to ride fast properly....and i just signed up for an "advanced riding class" thats supposed to teach you how to corner and such better. I never got rid of my chicken strips, i never felt confident enought to lean as far as i probably could have on my 250. This 600RR makes me feel much more confident leaning farther over. I dont know anybody who rides so i just kind of learn as i go, so im really looking forward to these classes and my track day.

Similar experience when I switched from a 650R to my ZX6R.
Like you're riding a Jetfighter, everythings so sophisticated and sharp.
I'm still faster on my Zx6R than any other bike I've had or ridden.
Enjoy!

You bought this bike used, right? She's already been ridden before, so make sure to wear a condom. You don't want to catch something.
Glad you're enjoying your new bike!

So going from 20hp to 100hp is pretty mind-blowing, adding another 80hp to the mix? Pretty sick right? That 45ft-lbs of torque is pretty game-changing, eh?
Now imagine a 190hp modern literbike bowl of nastiness like the S1000RR with the same weight. Keep in mind, liter twins like a big Ducati are around the 100ft-lbs of torque range.
That is all.

why stop there? turbobusa on NOS - 450+ hp, enough torque to cause a road to slip several inches......

It's awesome that you're this happy! That's what's getting a new bike is about! I knew the 2 time I saw my last bike, after I bought, and I was like,,,,"Meh, I guess I'll go ride" that I had made a mistake. Saw a great deal and was actually being treated nice by a Stealership, so BOOM, I got it,,,,,,and cried and was unhappy for a year until I sold it.
You followed your heart, Bud!
