i'm thinking he'll have all new fairings for the season, cool helmet tho.

Ended up looking at that second picture some more. If you were to give a definition of what absolute comfortable perfect form looks like, i'm not sure if it gets any more text book then that.

From today's Honda press conference...

Casey Stoner made his return to Honda machinery
after a four year absence, his last season for
Honda was in 2006 when he raced a 990cc RC211V
for LCR Honda. With the blessing of Ducati The
Australian rode the factory Repsol Honda RC212V
800cc machine for the first time, clocking an
astonishing second fastest time of the day at 1m
32.775s was just 0.763s down on pole sitter
Lorenzo's time. He was just a tenth of a second
outside his own FP3 time from the grand prix.

Stoner ran with the 2010 version of the RCV
chassis, using one of Pedrosa's 2010 race
machines. He concentrated his efforts on finding
the best possible riding position to suit his
style and when reasonably comfortable on the RCV
moved on to setting up the RCV for serious lap
times. As in all forms of automoto racing the
electronics play a huge part in machine set up
and the RC212V debutant devoted considerable
attention to that aspect of machine performance.

Spies thinks Stoner on a Honda might mean doom for everyone else on the grid...

Soup :: Ben Spies: Watch What Happens Now :: 10-28-2010

Casey on a Honda could be a very scary situation," the American said. "The Honda's working quite well now. When Casey's on, there's been nobody on a Ducati that can touch him. Those are just facts. So it's going to be scary to see what he does on a Honda. Again, it's one of those things that could go really bad for everybody. We'll have to see.

that is a bad ass paint job.

Stoner and Rossi are still under contract with Ducati and Yamaha respectively. Part of the deal to allow them to test their new bikes is that they cant have any insignias or logos on them. That's why Rossi's Duc is black and Stoners honda has a custom paint scheme. Neither bike, nor their leathers, will look anything like this for the race season.

I agree with what Spies said in the above interview (when there were still 2 GP events remaining) about Stoner. Seeing how quickly he has adapted to the Honda, it could get ugly REALLY quickly next season. Seeing a pic of him smiling made me think he's just glad to be back on a bike that isn't bipolar, lol.

And....is it too soon to say BS11 will be an alien??
