Wow, I love all these 80s and 90s sportbikes.
One of my favorite things about them is the paint schemes they had.
They were bright and just went together real well.
I'm really love powder coated wheels.
I MUST have this bike one day:

This started my love affair with the GSX-R back in 1991.

I wanted this bike soooo bad when it came out but at 10k large, there was no way a broke ass-college-loan-owing person was able to get one. It took me almost 20 years but now I have two.

Man... up until a couple months ago, I had no idea of the existence of this bike.
It's a dream now. I LOVE it.

PhilB already posted it, so I hope I'm forgiven:

Suppose I better stick the old beast although calling it early 90's (94) is a little of a stretch.
Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport 1994
This was a couple years ago now its definitely seen better days but it keeps on keeping on. I've more recently brought a 2006 Aprilia yet i still drag the old beastie out for a run, on the dyno this makes the same torque as the ape, the difference is the Guzzi does it at 4500 rpm and the Ape does it @ 9000rpm.
Those saying things about big fairings etc and if you look closely litre bikes and 600's had centre stands and grab handles. The WSBK was still its original 750 fours litre twins format. So all the race reps were 851/888/916 RC30, ZX7R, GSXR750R, FZR750/OWO1 etc.
Litre fours were the sports tourer's of the day and why you saw 1100's 1200's/900's (first Fireblade) with no race categories to fit into 100cc here or there didn't matter, the 600's were just a smaller cheaper version of the litre's and were similarly equipped. Then big four well except for Suzuki threw their toys out of the toy box and you ended up with the WSBK series you have today.

Old thread...
There was a guy around here who had one of these, it wasn't that nice and he ditched the 18's. Surprisingly, it was the first bike I ever heard with a dry clutch.
Then my dream bike from back then, the Yamaha FZR400RR SP. I had a couple of US-Spec FZR400's, but this one was the one to get if you could find one.
And finally, the shot heard around the world:
I liked these a lot too. I almost bought one in 1995. I was too young to appreciate it.

Im on the fzr crew, i got a fzr 1000 1992 in 2007 that i kept for only 2 years. I had gotten it for pretty much nothing and made some profit from it, only later to regret it.
This pic is my bike (first) 2 years ago when my cousin that works for the man that bought it took a picture and uploaded it on facebook. I was happy to see it was still going strong and looking better than ever.
Looking forward to owning an identical one someday, and give it the attention it deserves!

What about the Suzuki Bandit 400? Super cool bike, and has always been a favorite. I finally had the chance to own one, and it even had Ohlins suspension
