I heard spies had his fastest lap on the last one. Any one have a list fastest lap times from each rider? I wonder how far off the pace ben was. It would also be neat to see a list of bens lap times every lap.

I haven't seen fastest lap times, but on another board they were saying that the last 5 or so laps, Spies was as fast or faster than Edwards (within a couple of tenths).

i am guessing you didnt watch it?

The excitement about how important this race was, the constant battles for position 3 or 4 bikes at a time, Ayoma going off the track early in the race, then Simoncelli crashing allowing Ayoma to just have to finish the race for the championship, did i mention the part where there were amazing battles?

Someone needs to get a pic of that and put "Epic fail" on it
They interviewed the designer of the Ducati MotoGP bike on BBC Sport after the race and he absolved Stoner of any fault in the crash, putting the blame squarely on a malfunction of the bike's TC system.

Spies' fastest lap, a 1:34.015 (on the last lap of the race) was good enough for the ninth quickest lap time. The commentators on the BBC broadcast were extremely impressed and quite complimentary towards the kid.

That pass he put on Dovi was very nice. Cool, calm and extremely professional.

I can hardly wait to see what his times are like testing...

Spies' fast lap was about .5 seconds slower than what Pedrobot (well, Rossi and Lorenzo also since they remained at nearly the same gap until the last couple of laps) was doing most of the race. Not bad considering he'd only spent 4 hours on the bike. That and he said he still hasn't figured out exactly where the limits of the tires are.

It will be interesting to see what his lap times do over the next couple of days. The more laps he gets on the bikes, the more comfortable he'll become.

Who the hell in their right mind would have guessed Stoner would highside on the sighting lap?

I was watching the live feed early in the morning. I wasn't watching the clock and missed the sighting lap and green flag. About 3/4 the way through the first lap I'm thinking: WTH is Stoner? The feed was Italian I think, so I didn't understand a word of what they were saying. Then they showed a replay!

Your not wrong. He fucked that one up. He was fastest in every session and most probably would have won. Ah well, that's racing. Bring on 2010.
