No need to prove it and no need to read any review. I have about 30,000 miles experience on Conti Road attacks on my sv. While they are a great tire, they are NOT hyper sport tires.
Don't kid yourself.

im sure the bt16's will work out nice for u but from what limited info u listed about your current tire and riding, it would seem something like a road 2ct would have provided the same grip that your riding requires but given u twice as many miles.
I go through tires every 2 months, so life equals out that increased intial expense. Meaning,
if a certain tire in the same performance world is going to gain you a couple thousand mile, is it worth $40 more intial cost?
THis is where pure performance and life debate begins, but a general 1000 mile extra life is worth 30 or 40 dollar
exactly!
thats a good price for those tires, but if you don't NEED them (and 95% of riders don't) then you're throwing away your money.
as soon as you tell someone this they always seem to comeback with stupid comment about how its soooo much safer to run the stickiest tires out. meanwhile today's sport touring tires have more grip than the sport tires of only a few years ago.

Sure, but that doesn't mean that the old adage "better safe than sorry" doesn't apply anymore. If you find yourself tumbling down the street because your sport touring tire didn't have that extra 10 percent needed to keep you glued to the street, do the ends justify the means? I surely don't think so. Besides; hyper sport tires are just so damn sexy.

the maximum braking of a sportbike is limited by its tendency to lift the rear wheel, not tire traction. this is why cruisers can outbrake sportbikes in a panic stop.

Certain sport touring tires, I do consider dangerous or not ideal for agressive ride.
One of my favorite street combos on my VFR , is an original ppower front with Bt 21 rear. However the life on the Bt21 is limited so I run the Proad 2 rear, near the same performance and far better life.
Sure if running full out on a track, I'd choose something different, like a ppower 2ct and Ppower rear. But I dont need that combo on the street, as it would only eat at my pocketbook with my milege.
As far as needing the best traction to save your butt, I wouldnt trade all the spinning and bad tires in the world , to start off and never gain that experience. Traction sensitivty is a valuable asset to own, much better than any short lived tire.
I just ordered a set of road 2's has anyone else run them? I have the orignal diablo supersports on right now, im not sure what the difference il be getting is, I had to do it seeing as how I was getting 2500 miles out of the rear.

Sure, but I was referring to attempting ludicrous speed around a corner and having the traction fail. A place where stickier tires are preferred.
