Doesn't matter, the 500 2 strokers were the chit. Wow those were the days. I wish I was into watching motorcycle racing back then.

Evidently Hayden' Handlebar(clip on w/e) came loose during the race lol.

Didn't catch that. Good though, I was looking for an excuse to watch it again.

Well done Hayden! His result doesn't signify much, but he kept a stong and consistent pace the entire race, and was battling it out.

Good improvement for Hayden, 10th last race and 8th this weekend. Looks like all the time the engineers and mechanics are putting into his bike is paying off.

It would be nice to see Nicky do something other than stink the place up. I don't think we will see him on the podium this year though. Not that I wouldn't like to see him up there again.

The Yamahas are set up unbelievably well this year, they are fast as hell and handle unreal. Rossi and Lorenzo are going to be very hard to beat this year.

so i finally watched the bbc broadcast and the commentators played a slo mo of when rossi and lorenzo at the Chicane and it showed rossi can make a sharper turn than lorenzo. but right before the race they said the two yamaha M1s are setup the same for this race. what's up with that?

They can't know that for sure and no crewchief is going to tell some journalist what springs, shim stack, oil, oil viscosity, and exact settings they are using. They won't even divulge that information to their teammate's crewchief.
