455lbs with a full tank; multi-mode traction control and (optional) multi-mode ABS, 192HP, 14K redline, power shifter, lap timer... and no, it doesn't only come in that acid green color.
I've ridden the K1300S with the shift assist, and it really does work nicely, btw.
I'll take mine in the white/red/blue BMW racing colors, please...
Still think it looks stupid and ruins the lines of an otherwise nice looking bike. The K1300GT has a perfectly normal headlight, and that seems to work out OK.
I'm really interested to see how this bike turns out. BMW has a long history of not-quite-getting-it-right on their new models. They rely on legions of beemerphiles to buy the first year bikes and help them work out the bugs, usually at the owners' expense.
I agree with that, the oddity looked good on their dual purpose bike but not as much on this.
I really do not understand what the problem is with headlights, but they all seem to be having problems making them look good of late.
Adversely, I cannot think of a bike in the 90s in which the headlights actually were of any concern.
Well crap, why did they go and do that. Now I have to fret about if I should buy one now or wait a year. If they had just made it $20k I could forget about it, but noooooooo!
