And you ride a Hyosung? I would think with that education, you would be making enough to at least get a 1098s or something?

It's my first bike and has been absolutely reliable. I've got about 25k on it. Fortunately, I can see beyond marketing spiel and fervent fanaticism. I've been waiting on Hyosung's release of the GT 650X, since I've been a satisfied customer. However, if it doesn't happen soon I'll probably be getting a KTM Duke, KTM SuperDuke, or something in a Moto Guzzi or BMW boxer.
As a Suzuki owner, perhaps you'd care to tell us all how you can ignore Suzuki's history of problems? You know, those little things like frames that snap in half? Then, of course, there's that nasty public perception that all "Gixxer" riders are nothing but a bunch of half-witted squids.
BTW, you may be interested to know that the "common knowledge" about Hyosung is as much uninformed BS as the automatic connection between GSX-R riders and squids...
P.S.: The 1098S is beautiful, but it does nothing for me. I've found that I'm far more interested in something with a bit more day-to-day practicality. But, if I wanted to, I could afford to buy one with cash in hand. If you knew anything about the subject, you'd know that the Ninja 250 was (and still is) the cheap option against the GT 250R you choose to slight.

The only problem I have had with either of my GSX-R 750's was that my '01 would pop out of 2nd gear and into "N" under hard acceleration. Even when I binned it the frame stayed in 1 piece. This was a wreck where most of the fairings left the bike, both rims had pieces missing from them, and I woke up in the hospital over an hour later. My '07 is still in showroom condition and I haven't had any problems whatsoever; it only as ~1500 miles on it though since Midwest weather is shit. I consider myself to be less of a douche than most Gixxer riders. Have a nice day.

Damn, I'm glad you've come back from the crash okay. It's never good when you lose conciousness.
IIRC, it was later GSX-R models that had the frame issue. Some guy posted pictures on here of a bike he bought which had the frame snap. Apparently it was responsible for killing the previous owner when it came apart. I shudder at the thought.
Glad to hear the new bike is doing well. Nothing sucks worse than having the bike out of action. In my case it's been two separate cases of idiots losing control of their cars at night and smashing into my garage, making it impossible to open the door and get the bike out until the garage was repaired. Cagers, they're out to get you even as you sleep...
Ride on!

Dude, sounds like you live in a dangerous place if your garage has been taken out twice. From all the frame breakages that I have seen, they were all collision induced. I haven't heard of anyone just riding around and have the frame come apart. My bike does fit into that category of years that the problems were had by Suzuki though. I try not to worry about what could happen, I think there are many more possible situations that could arise riding on the street than the frame just falling apart.
BTW, get the Guzzi out of the list you supplied. Something different at least. I would love to own one someday.

Love hondas, if only they made more rwd or awd cars so they could be more fun. hate the ff, but its good for their business.
I wish toyota went back to the 80's and 90's with badass sportscars.
I had the mr2 turbo, 2nd gen and it was an awesome car. It was bone stock, but I had tons of fun in that thing. Yamaha designed the 3sgte engine in that thing.

Rice!
Oh, wait...
EDIT: I definitely wouldn't mind driving a little honda everywhere. My boat of a car handles like a drunk man on a tightrope.
