It's definitely an acquired taste. But I did enjoy the one I got to see with just a few mods.

They have a couple at my local stealership. Just as ugly in person. I'm not sure why you'd buy one when you could just buy a busa for less. I mean 1k buys whatever comfort mods you need for the busa and you have better wind protection plus a bike that doesn't look like ass.

I sat on both and the Busa was much more comfortable. The B King felt much bigger than it really is.
To the OP, I say get a Busa, sell the fairings and make your own naked bike.

Yea, I don't know what it is about it but I like it, (kinda like the way I think about Ellen Barkin and Renee Zellweger, there's just something about them that keep my eye). I didn't think it looked like such a "big" bike but by most replies it sounds as it is. It definately looks ergonomically friendly, and with it's shared power plant I'm sure it can kick some a$$. I am 6'2 and 235 and feel I dwarf my R6, but I never really cared much for the busa since to me it looks heavily plasticed, especially with the rear seat cowl. (Plasticed, is that really a word? I doubt it). I know the busa is a big machine and you need alot to wrap it in, maybe it's just the roundness as opposed to the "angular" edges of the B-King (and R6) that I like. Not that "whatever" anyone else thinks influences my buying decisions as far as visual, I like what I like, but I do take in consideration of it's "mechanical" abilities and others (experienced) opinions on that. I had seen a "demo" for sale on my local Craigslist that had the Yoshi carbon cans on it as well as some carbon fiber parts and that is really what drew me too it. I also don't understand why they are commanding 1K additional to the busa's price tag??? WTF? It's a little shy of the busa's H.P. but more potent in the torque department. I don't think I'm ready to give up the R6 yet but am thinking I'd like to have a #2 rider and this will be my choice. Thanks for everyone's imput! r64l

B King pics
A few pics of the B King from CL at 12.2K. Says MSRP is 13.9. Has Yoshi exhaust, bar end mirrors, some C.F. pads, tinted screen. Cleaned it up pretty nice! Hmmmm....I'm liking it more and more!

The B-King is a nice riding bike with plenty of power. You can ride it all day long, and the next day too. Plenty of power. I can't say anything bad about it and I only rode a used one for a couple of days. If I didn't own an Aprillia Factory Tuono I may think about getting one.

It's a great bike with a great engine. But from the saddle the tank looks like the deck of an aircraft carrier. Sampsonite should make tank bags for this bike.

I guess JK nailed it, if the tank was smaller it would look alot better.

when I sat on one a while ago the tank was a huge turn off for me, I cant really remember but I dont think the tank was all that big, it seems like the peices of plastic on the sides of the tank make it look a lot bigger.

The stock B-King is fugly, but that actually looks pretty nice, IMO. If you like it, I'd grab it.

Looks good from the side, but any other angle (when you can see the front light, or the tank or tail width) is horrible. I guess that's the majority opinion.
I agree with Dale, I saw the one with the aftermarket cans and fender eliminator at the dealership (XTreme Machines in Millstone, NJ), and the tail looked sick. Not sure if it's still there though.
