Default Suzuki B King First Ride

Well, I did it. I was at Mid Carolina Power Sports yesterday and they took in a B King on trade. They asked me to take it out and see if there was any problems and what I thought about it. It has a little over 8000 miles on it and was in great shape.

It looks heavier than it feels. At low speed it was easy to drive in traffic and when I got it in the country I cranked on it as hard as I wanted to, not being my bike, and it was bad fast. I'm not sure you really need 6th gear but it has one. I pushed it past 150 mph and that was enough for me on the street. It turned easier than I thought it would in the curves, tucking your knees into the tank and doing a little counter steering. Not bad at all.

A nice break from the track bikes I'm used to riding. Has anyone else had an opportunity to ride one or what do you owners think of this beast?

Shame on you. A fifty six year old man and you were going one hundred and fifty miles an hour... on a bike that was not even yours.

The people that sell the Burger King short are making a mistake. 2,000 miles on mine and still a huge grin on every ride.

I personally believe it's the ugliest bike that has ever graced the planet.

It's a badass though, so it doesn't need to look pretty!!!

It blew me away with it's performance. I'm just not sure I could control my temptation to keep my right wrist from getting me a ticket. I never noticed ugly especially riding. It may not be the best looking bike to some but my choice for ugly bike of the year is the new Buell 1125.

It is a blast to ride.
