Clever, and correct. I feel the same way, I dont care if gas is $10 a gallon, I'm still going to ride. I dont have a bike because it gets good mileage. Good mileage is a great thing, dont get me wrong, but the pleasure I get back out of it is definitely worth any price for the gas.

i don't have a bike because it gets good gas mileage, but i do like not having to pay alot for hours of entertainment. i can't stand people that started riding for the gas mileage

Large twins don't usually do that well.

They do. Easily. The reference is to highway MPG, specifically.
Not having to drive a water pump helps.

I think it's genius. Their marketing division has always been light years ahead of their engineering division.

Yup, There is alot of folks getting bikes cause of gas prices. A buddy came up to me an said check out this harley softtail I just bought he said for gas milage. I asked him how many times he could fill his truck up with the money he just spent on that bike. I ride for the pleasure not for gas.
