Clever, and correct. I feel the same way, I dont care if gas is $10 a gallon, I'm still going to ride. I dont have a bike because it gets good mileage. Good mileage is a great thing, dont get me wrong, but the pleasure I get back out of it is definitely worth any price for the gas.

i don't have a bike because it gets good gas mileage, but i do like not having to pay alot for hours of entertainment. i can't stand people that started riding for the gas mileage

Do Harleys really get 50 mpg?

Large twins don't usually do that well.

They do. Easily. The reference is to highway MPG, specifically.

Not having to drive a water pump helps.

I think it's genius. Their marketing division has always been light years ahead of their engineering division.

To most Americans, marketing sells much more product than engineering.

Yup, There is alot of folks getting bikes cause of gas prices. A buddy came up to me an said check out this harley softtail I just bought he said for gas milage. I asked him how many times he could fill his truck up with the money he just spent on that bike. I ride for the pleasure not for gas.
