I don't care if they ride for gas mileage or Old Glory or whatever.
I just know that one more rider means one more person who might be more "motorcycle aware" when they are driving their cage.
And that one person might be the one who doesn't run me down while on my bike.
100% true I look out a lot more now for bikes ON PURPOSE than I did before, I was never rude or not knowing before im just more aware they are around now and to give them some more room/leeway when im out there.
I like the E-bike but I'd have to put some playing cards on the rear spokes to sound like a motor. I like the fact that it gets 572 miles per gallon though. I'd comute on it.

Well.....MPG is inaccurate when dealing with electric vehicles. It's had to be based on kW/hr because that's what the electric company charges you to charge your bike. But even then, it costs, what between $0.08 and $0.13 cents per kW-hr, so even if it had to charge 8 hours to go 570 miles you'd still only be paying $0.64 to $1.04 to get that. That's cheap at twice the price for half the mileage.
I think it's genius. Their marketing division has always been light years ahead of their engineering division.
They have to be - how else do you explain selling '40's technology today? (Yes they had fuel injection in the late '40's if I remember correctly.)
