Is the ZX-12R kind of forgotten?
I ask because i see tons of aftermarket parts/acc. for all the zx series, except the 12. zx6, zx9, zx10, zx14, all have tons of availability.
while the 12 does have parts available, it's not to the same quantity and therefore price as all the others.
any idea why this is?

Depends on what you are looking for. I was going to trade straight up my 9R for a 12R. But the guy said "oh no your bike has Carbs" im like wtf?
At the end of the day when we took off we both hit it at the access road-he lost.
The guy simply didnt know what he had or what he wanted.
I dont want a 12R anymore. Ill take a ZX10 though...preferebly 04.

IMO it is forgotten and under rated.

i love mine but when i look for parts online, i see the listing for any given part application as : zx6r, zx9r, zx10r, zx14r, at least 80% of the time. i'm thinking, damn, i'd like to have that on mine, but oh well!
no big deal, it is what it is, but it kinda sucks too!
