That's obvious, but there's always more to the story. Did he go wide and cross accidentally, or was it on purpose to make a pass. What kind of road, terrain, visibility? There are a lot of times when you can more than safely pass on a DY on a bike, but often times riders dont use common sense when deciding what's safe and what isn't.
