Default European Flights: Cheapest city to fly into?

Anyone have a suggestion?

I will be in both Paris, France and Frankfurt, Germany so any airports near either location would be great.

Paris is about $1500 and Frankfurt is about $1000 for the same dates.

The approx. dates are: October 11th through November 1st. The October 11th might be pushed forward and the November 1st maybe be as well. Just guestimates...

I fly relatively a lot but it is always last minute with no planning so not sure when the best time to fly is: weekday or weekend?

Frankfurt is generally cheaper than Paris (go figure) and London cheaper still. Problem with London is that getting to the continent is either $$ or takes some time. Although you might check out the high speed train under the Channel from England to France.

Mid-week will probably be the best fares.

Row row row your boat gently across the HUGE ****ING ATLANTIC OCEAN! And try to make it there by December. Because it gets REALLY freakin cold in the winter.
