Volkswagen making motorcycles?!?!

Rumors have been going around.

Quote:
For some time now rumours has been saying the Volksvagen is interested to start building motorcycles!
Now the Mag. Auto Express says that the bike to come will be built with the help of KTM. KTM, who already has a relationship with VW due to the combined effort of building KTM's sportscar, X-Bow.
At present, the VW corp. is supporting KTM with the Audi engine for the X-Bow, and rumours has it that KTM is supporting Vw with an engine for their bike.

Inline 4 vs. V-twin, SS swing arm vs. 2 sided. Different bikes.

I'd rather see the other Japanese companies come out with sport bikes. It would be interesting to see what Toyota or Subaru would come up with.

I don't know what to think about this. The biggest question is "WHY?"

i was thinking Toyata, but Subaru would be interesting. an AWD bike?

i plan on getting into bikes, starting with MSF and a 250R. my dream is to work up to a Ducati eventually, always wanted one. but i love Subaru's cars, interesting to see how a bike they make could be received.

surprised Toyota hasn't taken on the other 4 Japanese companies.

Same here about the Ducati, as maybe my 3rd bike, I love the 848. Yeah I could see Toyota having a crazy GP supersport and Subaru with some kind of dual sport...I'd like to see a WRX650sti lol

I'm pretty sure this is a fake.

It looks like a photoshopped version of the Moto Morini Corsaro Avio
