2008 Ninja 250
Went to the dealership yesterday to go look at one! I was pumped, got there, and they had one. Only one, and it was sold. I still got a chance to sit on it and see how I liked the feel though which was good. The dealer said you can't find them anywhere in Michigan right now. Are they this hard to find everywhere? Or is it just around here?

My local dealer hasn't had one on the floor yet - as soon as they come in, they go right back out the door. Can't wait to see one in person.

Where are you from?
Thats what ours said too. He's getting some more in in July and told me I could put down a deposit to reserve it. I was all for it, but now my guy, who got me into riding in the first place) is trying to convince me to get a new car instead. Clearly I know its up to me, but he makes a good point lol. I'll probably sleep on it a few nights and then make up my mind.

saw one last night in my neighborhood. It was night so I asked the guy what model was it, and he said "250" I was surprised and stoked at how good it looked. Im not surprised to hear that dealers arent keepin 'em too long on the floor

I've seen 3 brand new Ninja 250s on campus this month. They're the best-selling sportbike of the year, as well. Go 250 market!

I'm in NY. Yea, for most, a car is a must in the northern latitudes. I don't think I'd have bought a bike without having a reliable cage first.

Just there, in the chicagoland area they keep them in stock. Not a smart business move if you dont.

I have a car, it's decent. It will get me another year at least Im gonna say. He has a Kawi ZZR 600 right now but wants to trade it in and get the new 08 White and Black CBR. He's up on his lease on his truck and if he trades in the bike he'll probably just get a decent car rather than a nice one. Im thinking his thoughts are that if he gets a crap car and a nice bike, he can still look good in my new car if I get that instead. See what Im saying? lol.
And Iv'e gotta tell you, riding passanger on a CBR just doesnt look that comfortable to me....

Well, he's a fool if he wouldn't hop on the back of his GF's bike, I wouldn't hesitate.

Maybe its just me that would be way more comfortable riding on back of him rather than vice versa...

I read somewhere [a review of it] that stated the 250R was Kawasaki's best selling model period.
