I think the FZ6 is a very nice bike if you want a half-faired 600. We liked the one my wife had; just didn't suit her as well as her FJR does. I think it's pretty nice looking stock.

agree.

Agree. MVs don't interest me at all.

Agree. Don't really care about ever doing a track day.

Meh. My ZX-14 is usually clean, my ZZR is usually filthy. But, I will say that being totally anal about keeping a bike meticulously clean all the time does pretty much make one a poseur, since you are wasting good riding weather cleaning your bike, and/or passing up riding on some not-so-good weather just because the bike might get dirty.

Don't care for Arai; none of them fit me. Love my Shoei RF-1000 though; best of the 4 helmets I've owned.

I'd probably buy a scooter before I'd buy an FZ6
I think both bikes and flavors are ugly.
I honestly think the NEW Ducait products are amazing. Customers are now getting almost what they pay for.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. No one buys these bikes anyway.
Trackdays look pretty fun. I don't think I could ever justify the expense though. Sportbikes are one of many hobbies that have my wallet in a vise.
I like CLEAN bikes. I will happily spend 10-15 minutes before/after a ride to keep it nice. Doing so enables you to see and correct problems in their early stages as well as protect your investment. Say what you will, but I don't enjoy riding in poor weather, just as I don't enjoy prostate exams. I'll do both when there's no possible alternative.
I don't have a helmet loyalty. I buy what fits, feels, and protects well, be it HJC, Arai, Suomy, etc.
i'll add to it that... as far as Ducatis go I had some spoiled girl try to argue w/ me that Ducatis are the ONLY good bikes out there... atleast if she's gonna be a snot she can say "I only like bikes from Italy" as I believe Ducatis and Aprillas are on par w/ each other... it's like saying "unless you have a Ferrari, your car sucks"... well what if you have a Lamborghini....
of course this was the girl who dresses slutty but brags about how she's saving herself for marriage... aka... not worth my time...
as far as track days... it's pretty much the only way to put these things to their limits, but it's not the end-all be-all...
as far as helmets... whatever fits and feels good... I have 2 an HJC and an Arai(came with the bike when I got it)... both feel fine, although I do prefer that the Arai is lighter...

FZ6-SV650,whats the diff, other tham Yami-Zuki? i ran into one the other day,not sure which one,no stickers/emblems. had 2 kinda length-wise taillights...thing was running so rich,i swear i saw raw gas comin out...
Cosign everything you said especiall the fz6 being ugly, the shoei and arai not being the best and ESPECIALLY the trackday. For some reason people think just because you have a sportbike you MUST do a track day or you arent a real rider.
