1 - Kawasaki Z750 - 6 481
2 - Yamaha FZ6 - 5 915 ...
Yes, but also note that sales figures in such highly regulated countries can be extremely influenced by tax laws, tariffs, tiered licensing, gas mileage (due to much higher prices there), etc. I'm not saying the FZ6 is a bad bike, but I am saying that Euro sales figures likely don't say much of anything useful in directly comparing bikes.

A *much* higher proportion of Europeans use their bikes for actual transport (again, high gas prices, more crowded streets, taxation, lower standard of living in general), so their priorities are different. Here, 99% of motorcycles are strictly toys, and thus the purchasing criteria are different, and reasonably and appropriately so.

That said, yes this is a really silly discussion amounting to a pissing match over nothing whatsoever. Why does it even matter if someone disses your ride, even for no reason? If you like it, ride it. If not, get something different.

i thought a couple of the european riders mentioned something about higher taxes on bigger bikes and limitations on horsepower based on riding experience when statrting out. so bet there are a lot of factors that influence sales that we just don't have here. when i lived in korea i noticed that 250cc was the biggest bike we would see except maybe 1 in a 400 might have a 600cc bike. supper rare.
