Yes, but also note that sales figures in such highly regulated countries can be extremely influenced by tax laws, tariffs, tiered licensing, gas mileage (due to much higher prices there), etc. I'm not saying the FZ6 is a bad bike, but I am saying that Euro sales figures likely don't say much of anything useful in directly comparing bikes.

A *much* higher proportion of Europeans use their bikes for actual transport (again, high gas prices, more crowded streets, taxation, lower standard of living in general), so their priorities are different. Here, 99% of motorcycles are strictly toys, and thus the purchasing criteria are different, and reasonably and appropriately so.
That said, yes this is a really silly discussion amounting to a pissing match over nothing whatsoever. Why does it even matter if someone disses your ride, even for no reason? If you like it, ride it. If not, get something different.
