The FZ6 is a totally unrefined POS and continues to finish last in all the mid-size standard comparisons, but for some reason it has a cult following.

The MV Agusta is pure sex no matter how old the bodywork is.

Arai and Shoei are good helmets, but way overpriced for what you get.

look at the 1/4 mile numbers and you'll see it's first. in fact it'll beat a stock monster 900 and a buel 1250.

Whats a buel 1250? Also, how many times are you running the 1/4 mile?

I can power past SV's down the straights at the track on my R6 with a friend riding a FZ6 in tow. they can out run a SV. the FZ6 has a R6 engine. it's not that far off the R6 in power either.

ive seen reviews say pilot powers are better than b-stone 002 dot's for grip...so yeah going by a mag reviews is retarded. the fz6 is a damn decent trackday bike, great backroads bike, good mid-distance tourer, and an awsome commuter bike. whats so shitty about it?

I am sure i am miss quoting the specific model, as i am not as well versed on the buels as you may be. Sorry. what is the quarter mile numbers for your bike. i know when i bought my FZ it was only .30 slower than my Bandit 1200.
i had a magazine i am trying to find, motorcycle world real world numbers and rw hp, not manufacture specs and it showed all the bikes in 2004 and the fz6 has a much lower 1/4 run than it's comparison bikes and a lot of the bigger
v-twins, even my monster when it was stock.

Hey what do you think of the new buel with the water cooled rotax motor instead of a harley?

here's the FZ6:

It is comical that a slower bike would take a jab. There is a reason i don't talk trash to R6, R1, ZX14, Busa, etc... owners. I think the kawasakis are great looking. In fact i didn't really know much about their performance till he had to go & say something.

Give me a break. As if 1/4 mile times and straight line numbers are any measure of how good a sportbike is.

Personally I think both bikes are ugly, but that is just me.

O, and btw, my bike is faster that both bikes in comparison.

I ride my bike for me, and me only. If you don't like it, fawk off or something.

I think all FZ's are ugly, Ducatis are nice but they aren't the be all end all, Ehh MV's whatever, I love trackdays, and I have an HJC Carbon. Shoeis don't fit my melon, and I didn't like any of the Arais.

O and I've ridden my bike in the rain, she's been outside for many a weekend trip, and she is spotless.
