He didn't win the championship, but he did finish 2nd first loser, scoring roughly double the points that Hayden did back in 8th. I don't think it's even debatable that Pedro is on an entirely different bike than Hayden. Nicky is just another recovering from injury in MotoGP. There are few, if any better riders on the grid.
Bike built specifically for Pedrosa? What was Hayden riding, the same bike build for pedrosa
there i fixed it for you.

If it is on and you don't want to know, don't look below:
Quote:
Stoner won his first BMW sports car at the 2007 Valencia season finale, when he wrapped up the best qualifier of the season award, and the Australian picked up where he left off at a wet Jerez.
Casey instantly stamped his authority on the slowly drying track, literally overtaking title rival Valentino Rossi in the early stages before pulling a huge 3.2secs clear of the competition after just five laps.
Stoner then sat calmly in the pits, with his arms crossed, to see if anyone could get near his mark. They couldn't, but Stoner made sure of the car by returning to the track for the final five minutes, by which time his lead was still 1.5secs, over countryman Anthony West.
The closing stages saw Nicky Hayden, and then Rossi, emerge as best of the rest behind Stoner - but the seven-times world champion, riding with Bridgestone tyres in the wet for the first time today, was left 1.3secs behind Stoner.

Looks like Stoner to me. He finished practice laps leading by a second and half over Hayden. Stoner is just a machine...saw him at Laguna and he was just crazy fast!

It’s only fitting with all the US auto maker problems that our president remind me of a used car salesmen.
If you don't know the story about the "Pedrosa" Honda, you're out of your depth.
Believe me, I've heard all the excuses. But at the end of the day, if Honda wants to win a title against guys like Rossi or Stoner, Pedrosa is their best shot at getting it done. When it comes down to having to outride one of the top guys for a victory, Hayden can't do it. He is simply outclassed.
On any given day there are maybe 10 guys out there that can take a win, but there are only a few that can challenge with any consistency. Pedrosa is one, Hayden is not. I predict that Hayden won't even be top 5 in points this season. Pedrosa will be top 3, but Rossi and Stoner will be 1 and 2. Either way, we'll find out soon enough.
Yea it's good to see the 69 plate again. Fuck number 1, nobody should rock that unless it's always been their number. As I said before, stick to your ROOTS man!!! It's all about riding with those traditions stemming from the past that got you where you are. I hope Hayden does well, can't really predict much with him any more, but I think if he likes the bike this year, he'll be a contender.
Anybody got the scoop on Hopkins? Haven't seen much posted about him and the Kawi. I'm hoping he kicks ass and really brings Kawi in to the spotlight, but I'm very skeptical that they'll be able to build him a competitive enough bike. He's good enough, but the bike may not be, I'll cross my fingers though.
Edit - BTW, is Quatar still a thumbs up for a night race? I hope so, the pics of the night race tests were so awesome.

You're kidding right? Nicky is the only one who really challenged Valentino during the '06 season, not Pedrosa. And all the while, Nicky was testing new parts while Dani was riding with the old tried and true. Alberto Puig sees to it that Dani isn't the test mule.

I go Beltway blitzin' on my mad mofo musclebike WFO. Its a true choice, a god-like experience if you will. The thought that I could buy the farm in a spectacular fireball...................well, that gives me a stiffie! Tesco Vee/The Meatmen
Dani also has a fairly bad hand injury right now, so don't get used to him being that low. I also prefer Nicky way over Dani, but you still gotta be fair to the guy.
Guarantee you he'll be up there fighting for top 5 most of the time when he's back at 100% or near it. I'm just hoping that Nicky likes his bike more this season, and finds a comfort level that can allow him to be up there fighting consistently for the top. Unlike some, I do believe he's good enough to run at the top if he has the proper equipment.
Honestly though, I want Hopper to whoop them all. Bring Kawasaki in to the spot light, and show his true talent. That may be a tough job, but I hope he can, I just like the guy a lot, and I'm not a Kawi fan at all. I just love seeing new stuff, and crazy changes in the top runners, underdogs are always entertaining.
I'll be happy to see Hopper, Rossi, and Hayden at the top, really doesn't matter who. Casey to, he's proven himself. I also wanna see Toseland and Lorenzo do some damage as well, both those guys are great. Lorenzo might be a douche, but he's a damn good rider.
